Diesel-powered forklifts are widely used in various types of wheeled transport vehicles in the logistics industry such as docks, factories, warehouses, etc. As an indispensable tool for modern logistics and transportation, diesel forklifts play an important role in the loading and unloading, handling, short-distance transportation and heavy-duty transportation of goods. They can enter various places such as cargo yards, airports, stations, ports, etc. to load and unload and handle palletized goods, and are indispensable equipment in pallet transportation and container transportation. Diesel forklifts are mainly divided into three categories: electric forklifts, warehouse forklifts and internal combustion forklifts.

The first is the electric diesel forklift, which uses a motor as power and a battery as energy. The carrying capacity is between 1.0 and 4.8 tons, and it is suitable for environments with a working slot width of 3.5 to 5.0 meters. Due to its pollution-free and low-noise characteristics, it is particularly suitable for places such as the pharmaceutical and food industries with high environmental requirements. Since the battery needs to be charged after working for about 8 hours, a backup battery is required to support multi-shift work, and special charging facilities are also required in the workplace.

The second is the warehouse diesel forklift, which is mainly used for the handling of goods in the warehouse. Most warehouse forklifts are driven by motors, and a few, such as manual pallet forklifts, are driven by manpower. Motor-driven forklifts are widely used in the warehousing industry due to their compact structure, flexible movement, light weight, and good environmental protection. When working in multiple shifts, spare batteries must be available and a dedicated charging place must be provided.

Finally, there are internal combustion engine diesel forklifts, including heavy forklifts, ordinary internal combustion forklifts, container forklifts, and side forklifts. Internal combustion forklifts usually use gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas or natural gas engines as power, with strong carrying capacity and can carry more than 5 tons of cargo. It is suitable for outdoor places where there are no special requirements for exhaust emissions and noise, and can run continuously for a long time and work in harsh environments.
